The Laboratory at New York Environmental offers a wide range of analytical services to accommodate the varied needs of our clients. From asbestos and PCB analysis in building materials and from Legionellae culture in potable water systems to metals analysis in soil, we look forward to being a meaningful partner on your projects!
accreditations
The Laboratory is accredited to the NELAC and ISO17025 laboratory standards to ensure the accuracy of data produced. Additionally, the Laboratory participates in regular proficiency testing to demonstrate ongoing performance.
methods and instrumentation
The Laboratory at New York Environmental exclusively performs sample analyses with methods as prescribed by the USEPA, NIOSH, ASTM, and the Standard Methods compendium.
The Laboratory uses validated, state-of-the-art instrumentation to ensure utmost confidence in all data produced by the laboratory.
sample submission
Before sending samples, please Contact Us to discuss your analytical needs; many samples will require special containers and/or preservatives at the time of sampling, and can be subject to relatively short hold times (the time between sample collection and processing at the laboratory). Samples for bacteriological analyses in particular will require advance notice.

Chain of custody forms
All submitted samples must be accompanied by a Chain of Custody (CoC) to facilitate sample tracking.

With some exceptions, samples received after 4:00PM are considered logged in the next business day.
